Dargil CC – History

Daryl Bartkunsky founded Dargil in August 2007, the registration was a long and stressful, Dargil went through all the long process and the correct channels with piles of paper work.

It all started with the basics choosing the name, the name came out, as Daryl Bartkunsky was the only owner at the time he combined his first and second name to form DAR (Daryl) GIL (Gilad), the company was formed into a closed corporate as this was the simplest and most effective way at the time.

The second part was of course all the paper work, and now let me say it again there was lots of paper work, Dargil did the registration through an online company called FACT, found by our old faithful GOOGLE. The actual registration was painless fact took all the hard work out for me, send me the paperwork and paid the money and it was registered, took around 3 or 4 days to become registered and that was all, fact registered us with an accounting officer, a company who I had never dealt with. We spent some time discussing the road we wished Dargil to take, and we decided to register both as an importer and exporter, this registration was originally going to be done through another company however this company never saw Dargil as a big enough effort and decided to play games with them telling them they couldn’t do this and they couldn’t do that, so we got fed up with them and found another company called Buffalo Freight I dealt with a guy by the name of Rowan who tried his best to assist me in obtaining this license, I must say he really did a good job. We also registered for VAT (value added tax) that was done through our accounting officer Yusuf and associates and received all official documentation.

The next step was to set up a bank account the company was faced with a big choice which bank to choices, the process didn’t take long to come up with what Dargil thought was the best bank for them, landing up with FNB First National Bank, the branch was a fairly easy choice Norwood branch as its one of the closed location and the bank is well kept, Once again we were faced with paperwork a cheque account and a money market account were set up for Dargil, as well as online banking which was fairly painless.

Dargil was then faced with the problem of a website and web hosting, Daryl turned to his long old friend Daniel Nochumsohn who currently runs easy technologies solutions cc, as an ISP (internet service provider) computer repairs and so on. Together we formed a simple and friendly website, and Daniel provided Dargil with helping hosting the website as well as dealing with the registration of the URL (uniform resource locator).

And there it was, Dargil CC was a registered and had an active bank account and a running website, it was now time for business,

Daryl Bartkunsky came to the turns that running Dargil on his own would be too much to handle and decided to bring in a partner, Dargil brought in Russell Isakow and every day since then he has be a hard and dedicated worker striving to make Dargil a better and stronger company.

Russell has done countless work for Dargil from arranging meeting to discussing high level propriety issues as to the company direction as well as employment and recruitment.

Dargil went on a major revamp in February 2009, it was a tough decision we were in the middle of companies all over the world cutting costs and firing employees, but after longs hours of talks with both partners and 3rd parties we decided to go ahead with the plan. In redoing our corporate image from new business cards to changing the corporate colours to final revamping our website.
